This intake is not just a filter replacement, but a complete sealed system, which prevents hot air from the engine bay from reaching the turbo. The air intake duct has increased internal volume, compared to stock, and supplies air from the factory channel above the radiator, as in the standard MINI configuration.

Thanks to patented Venturi filter housing and precisely machined tube for the MAF sensor, air moves as smoothly as possible, without turbulence — which reduces the load on the turbine and improves throttle response.
